Inkylicious Ink Duster™are specially designed twin end blending brushes with their unique blend of 3 different bristles which allows you to create fantastic ink effects for all your paper crafts, altered art projects and more. Easily blend inks and mediums. Use to create soft and subtle or dramatic and bold backgrounds. Easily create edging effects on die cuts, create faux brayer effects, distress and vintage effects and much more. Can also be used for stencilling with masks and stencils to create stunning effects.
Did you know in 2009 we introduced the craft world to blending with brushes, our TV shows on Create & Craft were instant sell outs. The world of crafting has changed and blending with brushes is now considered the norm.
Ink Dusters use natural bristles which just love water based mediums, natural bristles retain your mediums and release them onto your artwork to create many different effects, any residue mediums held in the bristles can be reactived with a simple spritz of water. Natural bristles hold the mediums unlike synthetic bristles where water based products bead up.
Only one brush per colour group is required - 1 for red tones, 1 for blue tones etc, you can even bounce from one colour to another (in the same colour group) without the need to wash your brush out.
Ink Dusters work great with masks and stencils to create stunning effects. When using with stencils - instead of the angled circular blending motion, use your brush upright and use a stippling motion.
If you've struggled with blending tools, can't quite get the hang of foam pads and your brayering has lines and streaks - then Ink Dusters™ might be your answer. Ink Dusters™ can be used with any water based mediums - ink pads: Dye, Pigment, Distress, Pearlescent etc, also use with liquid inks, mica sprays etc, all other paints or any water based mediums, chalks pastels. Not for use with solvent based inks.
Once you use them you'll wonder how you ever managed without them!
